COLAB Dry Shampoo - Review!

COLAB Dry Shampoo - Review!

(Sorry! Unfortunately I have no photo)

This dry shampoo was created by Ruth Crilly, otherwise known as 'A Model Recommends'. I am subscribed to Ruth's Youtube channel and I read her blog (I recommend you do the same!), so of course I was excited to try out this product, and as a lover of dry shampoo myself, I was intrigued to find out whether it was worth the buzz! Turns out, it was (or at least I think so). The invisible formula of the product works so well with my hair and, for me, it works as well or even better than some other leading dry shampoo brands. This is now my dry shampoo favourite and must have!

Tip of the day!

Tip of the day!

Research!

I know, I know. This sounds like the most boring thing in the world, but it could save you, and your purse! When that new mascara hits the shelves you may want to be the first to spend all your cash just to have it, but it may be better to wait... These days there are so many bloggers and youtubers that there will be reviews up very soon after the product hits the shelves, and you may find that the advert on TV was totally bonkers and this was pretty much just a novelty item. The applicator might mot be a very good shape, the colour might not be what it had said it was going to be, the formula might be too dry, it might be to wet. You just never know. My word is, research as much as you can because it might save you a lot of money.

Lush!

Lush!

I feel as though it's safe to say that Lush is a big part of my life. About 2-3 years ago I was given a Lush gift and ever since that, all I wanted to buy was Lush this, Lush that!
From the beginning of October till beginning of May- ish (or should I say Mae!....no, that would be weird)there is almost always a special collection including:

-Halloween
-Christmas
-Valentines Day
-Mothers Day
-Easter

Then there is a long period of time where there is just the regular Lush products (which is fine by me!). If I had to reccomend my top 3 lush products thet would be:

1. Twilight bath bomb
2. Creamy candy bubble bar
3. Candy mountain (christmas only) bubble bar

This was a bit of a 'just get to the point post' I think except there wasn't a real point to me making this post but I just really love Lush.

When you have a bad day...

When you have a bad day...

I think it's safe to say we all have bad days. Like me last Wednesday was my bad day, because

1. I had a migraine
2. We were robbed
3. I was sick

The point of me writing this is not to make you feel bad about your bad days, but to share my experience with you, so that you know that you are not the only one who has bad days.

Remember! Smile and the world smiles with you.

Thanks

January Favourites

January Faves!!!

I can't believe how quickly January has gone by! I know it's a little late but here is my January favourites!....

1. Revlon Colourstay ultimate suede lipstick in Socialite!
I love this lipstick because the colour is amazing (pastel pink) and it stays on your lips for hours. It is also a matte shade which is my favourite this month.
Two thumbs up from me!

2. Urban Decay Naked3 Pallette!
I love this Pallette because it has rose toned shades which is so me! Unfortunately this Pallette is not cheap but I managed to get one new for £15 which I think is a great deal! My favourite 3 shades in this Pallette are Nooner (I promise it is not because of the name!), Liar and Buzz. The only negative is that I think you really need to use the Urban Decay eye primer with it because it makes a big difference to the colour of the eyeshadow.

3. Benefit POREfessional!
I love this product because I think that it defiantly does what it promises and does a good job too. (I thought I had more to say about that but I don't!)

4. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless!
I like this product because I think it really makes your lashes look longer, it doesn't add much volume but I personally have quite thick lashes so I wouldn't reccomend if you want a lot of volume, but if your looking for length, go for it!

5. COLAB dry shampoo in New York!
This is the orange bottle and it smells really fruity! I love this product. Thumbs up from me!

6. Zoella fizz bar!
This smells amazing! I love Lush and this is a bit more expensive than a Lush bath bomb but it looks like a cream coloured chocolate bar and you can break of blocks so you can use four or five times so you get more for your money!

7. Tanya Burr lipgloss in Aroura!
I love this product because it is such a pretty shimmery pink colour perfect for me because I love pink. It is quite a dark princess pink (my amazing description!).

I just wanted to point out that I have not added these into my favourites because they are youtubers products I genuinely think that they are really good!

8. Katy Perry Royal Revolution perfume!
I love all of the Katy Perry fragrences (literally all of them) and I also have Killer Queen but this smells amazing and it's fruity but I feel like there is a sweet vanilla scent in there too. My local Superdrug had the 100ml bottle in there for £20 instead of £40 so obviously I had to take the deal as the 30ml (actually it might have been 50ml, I can't remember) was £23.

9. Twitter!
Twitter is my favourite social media this month.
If you want to follow me, go to @AlwaysOlivia

10. YouTube
It's pretty self explanatory!!!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did follow me so you won't miss a post.
Thanks!

Being ill

Being ill

I don't know about anybody else but almost everyone at my school is ill at the moment. This is bad for everyone else because they have to be around these coughing, sneezing people until they also get ill but they usually get it 10 times worse. Today I was sent home from school with a migraine and when I got home I was also sick, but the way I felt with the migraine was that it was never going to stop and this was the second migraine I have had in 2 months so I remember all I was thinking was that even after I get through this one, I will probably get another one. This isn't why I wrote this post though, I wanted to share some of my tips for when you have a migraine in case any of you reading this are like me:

1. Sleep is key - It may not seem possible at the time but go into a dark room close your eyes and imagine that the pain isn't there by thinking of some of your happiest thoughts.

2. Know your symptoms - Sometimes it can take you a while to figure out what symptoms you get on the lead up to having a migraine, but luckily I knew mine after just one. If you are feeling like you might have a migraine coming then look out for some of these symptoms:

-Visual disturbance
- Dizzyness
- Neausea
- A headache (mine is always on just one side of my face)

3. Look for a pattern - After you have had a 2 or 3 migraines then try and remember what happened before you got it and see if the same thing happened before all of them. It may sound strange but also try and remember what food you ate because something you may have eaten could have triggered your migraine.

I hope that you found this helpful, even if it helped just one of you, then it was worth me writing. I promise a slightly cheerier subject next time!
